Amy Schumer cancels remainder of 2019 tour due to pregnancy complications

Hoping for the best for Amy Schumer and her soon-to-be-due baby, as complications from Hyperemesis have forced the comedian to cancel the final week of her stand-up comedy tour.

Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a severe form of unrelenting nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. That’s obviously not a good look when you’re trying to tell jokes in front of thousands of paying customers.

As Schumer informed fans over the weekend via Instagram, her condition meant her doctors wouldn’t clear her to fly over the next couple of weeks, forcing to her cancel her final dates from Feb. 28 through March 3 in Phoenix, Houston, Dallas and Austin.

“I have a pretty good attitude about (my condition) and some days I feel good for a couple hours. But mostly it’s (sic) sucks. I wanted to push through and do my shows.”

We feel you, Amy. Take care of yourself and your baby! We’ll still be here when you’re ready to get back on the road.
