Lucas Bros. show transformed into impromptu memorial fundraiser for the late Kevin Barnett: The Bird Luger Extravaganza

This Friday night’s show by The Lucas Brothers at The Bell House in Brooklyn now will be an all-star tribute and fundraiser for the late Kevin Barnett.

Barnett died suddenly this week while vacationing in Mexico. He was only 32.

Barnett co-starred and co-wrote Friends of The People with The Lucas Brothers, Jermaine Fowler, Lil Rel, Jen Bartels and Josh Rabinowitz for truTV. He also wrote for The Lucas Brothers animated series, and with Rabinowitz co-created Rel, which premiered this fall on FOX. Barnett and Rabinowitz also had just made a pilot in 2018 for Comedy Central: Kevin Vs. Josh.

Performing on Friday’s tribute for “Bird Luger,” as he was called on his podcast, Roundtable of Gentlemen, include:
