Work Wife, a multi-cam inspired by the real-life friendship between Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest on and off camera as co-workers, has a put pilot commitment. Michael Ian Black is writing the script and EPing with Seacrest, Ripa, Mark Conseulos, and others.
Untitled put pilot is committed for Leslie Odom Jr. to star and EP a family-themed comedy based on the real-life couple, Pastor Touré Roberts and Pastor Sarah Jakes-Roberts. Kerry Washington, Pilar Savone and the couple are EPs.
Untitled put pilot also committed to Hannah Simone for a half-hour inspired by her relationship with her father. Simone writing the pilot. EPing with Matt Fusfeld and Alex Cuthbertson.

Kevin Can F*** Himself, from Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, is indeed a send-up at traditional network sitcoms that pair a beautiful wife with a slob husband so hijinks may ensue. Created by Valerie Armstrong.
CBS
Bait & Tackle, a multi-cam from Linda Figueiredo, about three adult siblings who take over the family business fishing shop. She’s EPing with Johnny Galecki.
Be Here Now, a multi-cam from Tommy Johnagin, starring the stand-up comedian as a widower who moves his family from L.A. to a small Illinois town to be closer to his widow’s family. Johnagin EPs with James Corden, Ben Winston and Jeff Grosvenor.
FOX
An untiled multi-cam family comedy from Chris Moynihan and Jonathan Prince loosely based on Prince’s life, with a couple in their 40s blending their familes and dealing with an ex who’s a billionaire.
Best Lives, from Daisy Gardner and Lisa Harrison, is a family comedy about a brother and sister who are each starting over after a divorce. One has a cat. The other has a kid.
An untitled multi-cam co-written by and starring Michael Yo, based on his life. Writing with Nick Adams.
HULU
Dollface, a new comedy from ABC Signature Studios, has a 10-episode order starring Kat Dennings. The series follows a woman who struggles to re-enter the world of women after getting dumped by her longtime boyfriend.
NBC
All Fancy, a half-hour starring comedian Anjelah Johnson and EPd by Kevin Hart and America Ferrera. Emilia Serrano writes the script, inspired by Johnson’s life and stand-up as a married 30-something Mexican-American.
NETFLIX
Katherine Ryan already has one stand-up special on the streaming giant. Now Ryan will tape her second special in December, and also signed a deal with Netflix for a six-episode series, The Duchess, that she’ll star and write about a single mom living in London.
TBS
The SuperStation ordered an unscripted pilot starring Shaquille O’Neal and Ken Jeong called Unqualified, which will follow the unlikely duo as they take on different odd jobs. O’Neal and Jeong will executive produce alongside Dave Kneebone, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim of Abso Lutely Productions as well as Jensen Karp, Perry Rogers Colin Smeeton, Mike Perris, and Brett Carducci. The deal came about after TBS first paired these two up in an episode of Drop the Mic.

YouTube has ordered a presentation for animated half-hour comedy based on the Sklar Brothers podcast, Dumb People Town. Identical twins Randy and Jason Sklar developing with Daniel Van Kirk, Will Arnett and Marc Forman, and Peter Principato and Joel Zadak. The animated pilot will focus on a Florida family debating whether to live dumb and happy, or smart and miserable.
