Bob Saget returning to rehash not-safe-for-family-hour America’s Funniest Home Videos in ABC’s “Videos After Dark”

Finally, Bob Saget can say what he really wanted to about some of the video clips submitted back in the day for ABC’s America’s Funniest Home Videos.

ABC has ordered Videos After Dark for 2019.

Saget, who hosted the first eight seasons of AFHV, will host and executive produce Videos After Dark, featuring clips from the vault that never saw the light of network TV because they weren’t deemed family-friendly enough to air at 7 p.m. Eastern/Pacific. Videos After Dark will air in the 10 p.m. hour.

AFV has been a fixture in households across America for decades, and we are so happy that this show still resonates. And now the generation that grew up with the hilarious Bob Saget as the host of AFV is old enough to stay up past 10 p.m. to see him on Videos After Dark,” said Vin Di Bona, the series executive producer.

Of course, fans of Saget’s stand-up know he still won’t get to say just about anything on network TV. So it’ll be interesting to see what he can and will say this time around.
