Indiegogo campaign to complete final, posthumous documentary special on Ralphie May

When I sat down with Ralphie May and Lahna Turner to podcast in the green room of Gotham Comedy Club back in March 2015, a woman with a camera filmed the whole thing.

They planned to make a documentary about themselves as a comedy couple and a family.

Instead, they separated. Ralphie later died.

And now, Turner hopes to use all of the footage they have from throughout 2015 into one final documentary and comedy special: Love You, Ralphie.

She’s seeking $75,000 from fans and supporters via Indiegogo, which would cover post-production costs and distribution.

Proceeds from the special will go to his widow, Lahna Turner, and two children, April and August May.  A portion of the proceeds from the completed project will also be donated https://www.ourhouse-grief.org in honor of Ralphie’s memory to help families cope with bereavement, and to https://www.tmcc.org to help individuals and families cope with mental illness and addiction issues.

They’ve raised $15,800 so far. The Indiegogo campaign has nine days remaining. Please consider supporting it.
