You won’t need Netflix to watch BoJack Horseman in Fall 2018, as series reruns will air on Comedy Central

Here’s something you haven’t seen before: A Netflix series making the leap from streaming back to cable.

Critical darling BoJack Horseman is going into syndication, and Comedy Central has nabbed the rights to air the animated series on the “regular” TV. And by regular, we still mean cable.

Season one episodes of BoJack will begin airing Wednesdays on Sept. 26, 2018, following the season 22 premiere of South Park.

“Comedy Central has a long history of using potent satire to help make sense of trying times, so BoJack Horseman is a perfect fit in our lineup,” said Tanya Giles, General Manager, Comedy Central. “We’re thrilled to be the first to put BoJack on linear TV, and who better than an animated horse to teach us a thing or two about humanity? Straight from the horse’s mouth.”

BoJack Horseman has been a groundbreaking show, defining the best in adult animated comedy just as South Park was before it,” said Michael Eisner, founder of The Tornante Company, which makes BoJack. “It is very fitting that the two shows will air back-to-back on Comedy Central.”

Meanwhile, the new fifth season the Emmy-nominated BoJack will premiere on Netflix starting Sept. 14.

Will Arnett voices BoJack as the former 90’s sitcom star from the family-favorite sitcom Horsin’ Around, trying to find his way with his human sidekick Todd (Aaron Paul) and his feline agent and ex-paramour Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris).

  1. Hi Sean,
I was wondering from where the image of this post is coming from? Is it an episode?
If yes, could you tell me which one… Thank you very much !!
    Best regards

    1. The image was provided by Comedy Central. I’m not enough of a superfan to know which episode it’s from, so you’ll just have to watch them all! 🙂
