David Spade skips straight to the audiobook for new Audible memoir

No reading required for David Spade’s new memoir, A Polaroid Guy in a Snapchat World.

Spade skipped the whole book part, instead going straight to audiobook for a special six-hour, 12-minute Audible-exclusive performance. A Polaroid Guy in a Snapchat World premiered today at www.audible.com/davidspade.

“It was a fun experience trying to make my stories come to life,” Spade said. “I grew up listening to comedy albums so, being able to perform this was exciting to me. I’m stoked for people to hear it and for the younger generation to realize how easy they have it these days.”

He talked about it last night on The Tonight Show with old SNL buddy Jimmy Fallon, and Spade joked that his performance is definitely not meant to be heard all in one sitting!

“Spade’s laugh-out-loud memoir was meant to be heard,” said David Blum, Editor-in-Chief of Audible Originals. “Having David Spade in your ear makes you feel as if he is sitting right next to you, giving you a private audience as he shares hilarious stories that are quintessentially Spade.”

If you don’t yet have Audible, you can listen to it free with a 30-day trial membership.
