Desus & Mero ending Viceland late-night, heading to Showtime?

Desus & Mero are ready for the big time. Or perhaps, Showtime.

Either way, the New York City duo will end their nightly late-night talker on Viceland at the end of this month.

Daniel Baker (Desus Nice) and Joel Martinez (The Kid Mero) first broke through in 2013 with their podcast, The Bodega Boys, followed by a Desus vs. Mero webseries, and recurring input as members of MTV’s Guy Code. Their Viceland late-night talk show began broadcasting on Viceland in October 2016.

Their numbers there might not have moved the needle in the ratings races, but their profiles certainly got bigger.

Desus & Mero became regular features over the past year on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
