R.I.P. Sadiki Fuller

Sadiki Fuller, a stand-up comedian from Houston who got his start in comedy in San Francisco, has died unexpectedly. He was found in his bed Saturday morning.

Fuller started doing comedy in 1999.

In his even younger days, Sadiki worked as a professional mascot for the Golden State Warriors. Off the court and onstage, Sadiki the stand-up worked his way up to the finals of both the San Francisco and Seattle Comedy Competitions.

In 2010, he also “competed” on an episode of Lopez Tonight, doing Chris Rock bits in front of Chris Rock with two other San Francisco comedians.

Sadiki was a regular at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood and Long Beach, the Hollywood Improv, the Ice House in Pasadena, and the Punchline clubs in San Francisco and Sacramento.

RIP Sadiki Fuller
