Review: Natasha Leggero and Moshe Kasher, “The Honeymoon Stand Up Special,” on Netflix

It sounds like pure schtick, but it works great both as a touring stage act, as well as a collection of streaming episodes.

I’m talking about The Honeymoon Stand Up Special on Netflix, which takes newlywed comedians Natasha Leggero and Moshe Kasher, finds them in the middle of their 2017 stand-up tour, and films them in two separate half-hour installments, followed by one half-hour where the two perform “The Couples Roast” on volunteer couples from the live audience.

They filmed this in Austin, in the same club where you also could see them work together from the year before in the Showtime stand-up showcase, SXSW Comedy.
