Review: Kevin James, “Never Don’t Give Up,” on Netflix

Say what you will about Kevin James.

I did in my review of his new Netflix special, Never Don’t Give Up, over on Decider.com.

No matter what you think of his comedy, or his choices of material (I can’t bring myself to watch Kevin Can Wait, although I have somehow seen both of the Paul Blart movies), you have to agree that he commits fully to it — whether it’s onscreen or onstage. James throws himself, sometimes physically/literally, into his act. He aims to please.
