Netflix orders two more new comedy series

The Netflix catalog of original programming keeps growing and growing, as the streaming giant has announced two more new comedy series in just the past two days.

The first project, Paradise P.D., is an animated look at a poorly-run small-town police department, from the creators of Brickleberry, Waco O’Guin and Roger Black, and produced by Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Bento Box Animation. The voice cast includes Dana Snyder, Cedric Yarbrough, Dave Herman, Tom Kenny, Sarah Chalke and Kyle Kinane.

The second project, Dead To Me, comes from Liz Feldman, with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Jessica Elbaum from Gloria Sanchez Productions joining as executive producers. It’s described as “a dark comedy about a powerful friendship that blossoms between a tightly wound widow and a free spirit with a shocking secret.”

Both series orders are for 10 episodes each.
