Review: James Acaster, “Repertoire” on Netflix

If you thought releasing two stand-up comedy specials simultaneously was big, how about four at once?! James Acaster did just that on Tuesday with Repertoire on Netflix. Only one of the four performances in the collection is actually new, although all four were filmed just this past fall in Notting Hill. Tom Segura almost became known as Jared from Subway’s “bad” brother

Sometimes, it turns out for the best that your big break never broke. Tom Segura told the story on Tuesday’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert about how, more than a decade ago, Segura had booked a nationwide TV commercial spokesman campaign with Subway to appear as the unhealthy brother of Jared.
