Hear Lauren Maul’s “Apologies From Men”

So many of the apologies this past year from men who abused women and minors in show business have been lacking.

Thank goodness for Lauren Maul.

Maul, a NYC-based comedian, has released a new album, “Apologies from Men.” She will donate 100 percent of the sales revenue from the album to RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization.  A free visual album will be available online, too, through Vimeo and apologiesfrommen.com. And you can celebrate with her in a live concert tonight in NYC at The PIT (People’s Improv Theater): Tickets are available here for $10.

Maul’s album takes the actual apologies of Louis CK, Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Matt Lauer, Mario Batali, Russell Simmons, Dustin Hoffman, and Charlie Rose, and sets them to her original music alongside animated videos.

Comedic musicians Alyson Greenfield, Jen Kwok, Lady Kate Weber, Alexius Smith, Chase O’Donnell, and Tahlia Robinson also lend backup vocals to the effort.

Roll it!
