HBO quickly renews Curb Your Enthusiasm for Season 10

After reuniting for a ninth season this year that many loved for the pure joy of seeing Larry David make friends, loved ones and strangers cringe, while others (including myself) felt it took too long to shake off the rust of their absence from the screen, Curb Your Enthusiasm isn’t going to wait years before coming back for season 10.

HBO announced today that Curb’s 10th season will begin production in spring 2018.

“We are thrilled that Larry will be back with his uniquely acerbic wit and comedic sensibility,” said Casey Bloys, president, HBO programming.

David added: “As I’ve said many times, when one has the opportunity to annoy someone, one should do so.”

David EP’d season nine with Jeff Garlin and Jeff Schaffer, a season that brought back many regulars, including Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines, Richard Lewis, Bob Einstein, Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen. The cast was just nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award, as was David for his individual performance.
