Fashion Police on E! will end on Nov. 27, 2017 with unaired footage of the late Joan Rivers

Fashion Police on E! was never quite the same after the death of Joan Rivers three years ago, and frankly not even really the same to watch years before that when the writers went on strike and Rivers allowed scabs to cross the picket line.

They tried filling her seat with Kathy Griffin to no avail. Then only broadcasting after major awards telecasts.

Now Joan’s daughter, Melissa, is pulling the plug on the show.

“Thank you to E! for having the vision to see the potential of Fashion Police which changed both the entertainment and fashion industries,” said Melissa Rivers. “I am truly proud to be part of this legacy.”

Fashion Police: The Farewell series finale special airs Monday, Nov. 27th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Melissa will host the finale, with co-hosts Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, NeNe Leakes, and Margaret Cho looking back on memorable moments since the series debuted in 1995. Celebrities will stop by with testimonials and tributes. And they’ll air footage from an unaired 1980s-themed episode. Here’s a clip from that:

Fashion Police has been a red carpet mainstay for over two decades that has been emulated across the entertainment landscape,” said Adam Stotsky, President, E! “Joan’s beloved no-holds-barred style fueled the franchise’s clever approach to fashion and comedy, and we are incredibly proud of its long-running success. We are also especially grateful to Melissa, as well as Giuliana, Brad, Nene, Margaret and the entire Fashion Police team, who have continued to deliver the laughs and make this iconic franchise truly one of a kind.”
