Kumail Nanjiani monologue for Saturday Night Live

Kumail Nanjiani hosted the Oct. 14, 2017, episode of Saturday Night Live (season 43, episode 3) and delivered a stand-up comedy monologue that was as funny as it was heartfelt. Much like his critically-acclaimed movie from earlier this year, The Big Sick. Nanjiani touched not only on how his Muslim Pakistani family felt when he fell in love with a white American woman, but also on how racism and Islamophobia in the United States is fueled by ignorance.
