Showtime acquires BBC comedy, “Ill Behaviour,” starring Chris Geere and Lizzy Caplan

Fans of Lizzy Caplan won’t have to wait much longer to see her back on Showtime.

The pay-cable network has acquired the BBC series Ill Behaviour, starring Chris Geere (FX/FXX’s You’re The Worst) and Caplan (Masters of Sex). Ill Behaviour will air on Showtime on Monday nights, beginning Nov. 13, 2017, following SMILF.

The six-part comedy thriller written by Sam Bain and directed by Steve Bendelack examines how far friends will go to protect each other. Geere plays Joel, a recent divorcee who moves in with his best friend, who sets him up with Nadia (played by Caplan), an alcoholic doctor.

Ill Behaviour is a brilliantly written series from the mind of Sam Bain which explores how far friends will go to protect each other, whilst blurring the lines of what’s right and wrong. It features nuanced and honest performances from the cast across the board and we can’t wait for audiences in the U.S. to see this hilarious comedy thriller,” said Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, executive producers for Fudge Park. Fudge Park produces the series.
