Saturday Night Live bids fond farewell to Bobby Moynihan, Vanessa Bayer and Sasheer Zamata

After the final goodbyes at the end of the 42nd season finale of Saturday Night Live, after the NBC cameras turned off, the cast and guest stars paid one last tribute to departing cast members Bobby Moynihan, Vanessa Bayer and Sasheer Zamata.

Moynihan, after nine seasons, will star in his own CBS sitcom this fall.

Bayer departed after the regular seven-year contract. SNL devoted several sketches to both Moynihan and Bayer in Saturday’s season finale. But Zamata, who joined mid-season in 2014, also said goodbye to the show. I’ll have more to say about each of them soon enough. For now, though, enjoy their departures in their own words, as they were carried offstage like champs.
