Anthony Anderson guest hosts Jimmy Kimmel Live

So it looks as though Jimmy Kimmel will continue showing how much David Letterman inspired him as a talk show host by also using his paternity leave to churn through guest hosts as one-night stands, rather than picking a semi-permanent replacement.

For Wednesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the show opened under the conceit of picking a lucky audience member to guest host. Who got lucky?

And later, Anderson and guest George Lopez joined Eddie Huang — the chef whose memoir, Fresh Off The Boat, is now adapted as an ABC sitcom — for a food segment. No matter what Huang thinks of the sitcom’s embellishments now, you’ve got to agree they did a great job of casting the kid to play him.
