Netflix makes deal for four more exclusive Adam Sandler movies

Your reviews may vary, but the numbers don’t lie.

Adam Sandler’s first two movies in a four-picture exclusive deal with Netflix — The Ridiculous 6 and The Do-Over — rank as the top film releases for the streaming platform. So on the eve of the release of Sandler’s third Netflix movie, Sandy Wexler, a comedic homage to Sandler’s actual manager Sandy Wernick, Netflix has re-upped its deal with Sandler for another four movies.

“Adam Sandler one of the leading comedians in the film world, and his movies have proven to be extremely successful with our subscribers around the world,” said Netflix’s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos. “We are thrilled at the opportunity to extend our partnership with Adam and his entire team at Happy Madison and keep the world laughing.”

Sandler added: “Love working with Netflix and collaborating with them. I love how passionate they are about making movies and getting them out there for the whole world to see. They’ve made me feel like family and I can’t thank them enough for their support.”

Sandy Wexler premieres on Netflix on April 14, 2017.
