Managers break off from Levity Entertainment Group to form Mainstay Entertainment

Former Levity Entertainment Group president Norm Aladjem has split from Levity and brought three managers with him to form a new company called Mainstay Entertainment.

Deadline reported the news first.

Among the clients joining Mainstay: comedians Trevor Noah, Maz Jobrani and Rachel Feinstein.

Levity and Mainstay will continue working together on joint productions.

Aladjem told Deadline: “I found that I was working with this amazing group of manager-producers in Ray (Moheet), Derek (Van Pelt), Sanaz (Yamin) and Tim (Honigman), who are like-minded in their passion and approach for architecting artists’ careers and helping them tell their stories. We wanted a platform where we could focus on that.”

LEG Corp., in addition to managing performers, also owns and/or operates several comedy clubs, including Levity Live and Improv locales, the Copper Blues pub chain, and produces stand-up specials through Levity Productions and reality programming via Triage Entertainment.

LEG CEO Robert Hartmann said in a statement: “Norm has been a valued partner as LEG has continued to expand. We continue to build our network of live venues, multi-platform production and our comedy-centric talent management division. We wish Norm and his group much success in their new venture.”
