Saturday Night Live debuts first-ever Snapchat sketch, er, Story: “Boycott”

We’ve grown accustomed the past couple of years with seeing Saturday Night Live post sketches that got “cut for time” or didn’t make it past dress rehearsal on the SNL YouTube channel in the days that followed new episodes.

But now SNL has debuted its first-ever SNL “Story” for Snapchat.

“Boycott,” written by SNL Co-Head Writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider and SNL cast member Aidy Bryant, directed by Paul Briganti and starring Bryant and Beck Bennett (with an assist by Bobby Moynihan), is a 12-snap comedy sketch in which a NYC couple played by Bryant and Bennett find it increasingly difficult to boycott President Donald Trump following an otherwise successful protest march.
