SNL suspends writer Katie Rich indefinitely after her Tweet about Barron Trump

A few minutes after Donald J. Trump took the inaugural oath to become our 45th president of the United States, Saturday Night Live writer Katie Rich mocked the president’s youngest child, writing on Twitter that 10-year-old “Barron will be this country’s first homeschool shooter.” By Saturday, Rich was gone from the SNL writing credits. And Monday, a person familiar with the situation told The Comic’s Comic that Rich had been suspended from her job indefinitely. After reports that Rich had deleted her Twitter account entirely, she posted an apology this afternoon. She wrote: “I sincerely apologize for the insensitive...

Episode #134: Matt Iseman

Matt Iseman was a jock when I first knew him as a college classmate of mine at Princeton. After graduation, Matt went to med school to become a doctor, only to diagnosis himself as a comedian. And they were all too ready to show us their true racist colors...

It’s no secret that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and its host are not fans of the incoming Trump Administration at the White House. But what about Colbert’s former alter-ego, that conservative blowhard “Stephen Colbert” who raged and raved for a decade on Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report? Well, who knows what he thinks. But Colbert has another conservative identical twin for the purposes of intellectual property lawsuits named “Stephen Colbert,” and that guy delivered The WERD about President Barack Obama, who steps down from office today. #ThanksObama Roll the...

Billy Wayne Davis on Conan

Billy Wayne Davis grew up in a small town in the South. How small? Davis will tell you in this stand-up performance from Thursday’s all-comedian episode of Conan (the other guests were Andrew Dice Clay and Jen Kirkman). Going back to his hometown, Davis also joked about realizing that some of their small-town sayings weren’t racist, so much as just plain stupid. Roll the clip! You can hear more of Billy Wayne Davis on his new comedy album, “Live at Third Man...
