by While the relationship between the Fusion cable channel and The Onion continues to play out, AMC Networks has just made a major play to re-up everyone’s awareness of IFC as a comedy channel, acquiring minority ownership in Funny or Die.
They’re already joining forces on the forthcoming series, Brockmire, starring Hank Azaria.
IFC President Jennifer Caserta will join Funny Or Die’s corporate board and look for new and expanded collaborations between the cable TV network and its newly acquired streaming platform.
