SiriusXM Comedy Greats will “F* Politics” for the week starting Oct. 17, 2016

With less than a month until the 2016 presidential election, SiriusXM will rebrand one of its comedy channels as “F* Politics” for the week to help you cope with the shockingly grotesque turn in our political discourse.

Starting Monday (Oct. 17, 2016), Comedy Greats (ch. 94) will become “F* Politics” with a curated slate of politically-minded comedy shows and talk.

Included in that programming:

Each weekday morning comedy block will kick off at 8 a.m. Eastern with a different stand-alone show. Among the offerings: Trump vs. Bernie: Live from Brooklyn, Anthony Atamanuik & James Adomian, the full album featuring comedians impersonating the two candidates having a debate; Colin Quinn’s Unconstitutional album showcasing the comedian’s one man show on the United States Constitution; “Satire & Democracy: Empowering the Citizenry with Comedy,” a panel discussion produced by the National Comedy Center that honored the late George Carlin’s legacy and impact on political comedy, featuring Lewis Black, Robert Klein, Larry Wilmore, Lizz Winstead, and Kelly Carlin; Two Beers In: A Tipsy Political Round Table, the podcast from the UCB Comedy network, hosted by Cody Lindquist and Charlie Todd; and to wrap up the week, a live show with Donald Trump, a.k.a. J-L Cauvin, who will take listeners’ calls while impersonating the republican nominee.

“Please, God, let’s end this thing already!” said Jack Vaughn, SiriusXM’s Senior Vice President of Comedy Programming. “I can’t take one more minute of this election. And if you’re anything like me, then you’ll want, nay need, to tune into F* Politics and save yourself from the sad final gasp of this political season.”

In addition to Comedy Greats channel 94, SiriusXM subscribers will also be able to hear the special programming via SiriusXM On Demand, through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at www.siriusxm.com/player.
