Rob Riggle joins the ranks of Colonel Sanders spokesmen for Kentucky Fried Chicken

Just in time for the kickoff of football season, Kentucky Fried Chicken has found its newest spokesperson to play the late franchise founder, Col. Sanders.

Rob Riggle debuted not only as Sanders, but also as “owner and head coach and marketing director” of the Kentucky Buckets, a fake football team.

Riggle becomes the latest comic relief to take on the Sanders character, costume and persona, following Darrell Hammond, Norm Macdonald, Jim Gaffigan and George Hamilton in the role.
