A quick programming note.

Gotham Comedy Live, which had broadcast new seasons of live stand-up comedy straight from the stage at New York City’s Gotham Comedy Club to wherever you’re watching the AXS-TV channel, will no longer air live. At least not for the upcoming season.

New episodes begin with a Monday night taping this Aug. 22, 2016, featuring host Paul Rodriguez and stand-up showcase sets fromĀ Jason Collings, Ayanna Dookie, Clint Nohr and Shane Torres.

  • Wednesday, Aug. 31
  • Thursday, Sept. 1
  • Wednesday, Sept. 7
  • Monday, Sept. 12
  • Thursday, Sept. 15
  • Monday, Sept. 19
  • Wednesday, Sept. 21
  • Thursday, Sept. 29
  • Monday, Oct. 3
  • Wednesday, Oct. 12
  • Thursday, Oct. 13

No lineups available for those tapings yet, although each taping starts at 9 p.m., costs $15 per person with a two-drink minimum and is open to ages 18 and older.

An AXS spokesperson told The Comic’s Comic thatĀ “taping these shows allows us best opportunities” to attract the “strongest headliners.” The next season’s premiere date has not yet been announced.

Gotham Comedy Live premieres new episodes at 10 p.m. ET Thursdays on AXS, with repeats throughout the week.
