Mark Normand on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Mark Normand owns a suit! A nice summer suit at that! I joke because for years, Normand always wore the same lucky track jacket in live shows, stand-up performances on TV, and even his album cover. For his debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, however, he cleaned up his look — if not also his stand-up material. Bleep! Normand himself teased the performance by saying on Twitter earlier Friday: “It’s a dicey set.” CBS censors did allow Normand to joke about the differences between how we use the word “douchebag” vs. the actual item, how women’s looks are too much of a focal point, and how he feels we’re more honest when we’re hungover than when we’re drunk. I’m interested to hear more of Normand’s thoughts and comedy when he takes the headphones off, though.

Roll the clip.
