Roast Battle week on Comedy Central kicks off with “Road to Roast Battle” special: Highlights!

It’s Roast Battle Week on Comedy Central, with a full-scale competition going down at Montreal’s Just For Laughs — and you’ll be seeing the highlights each night on Comedy Central, culminating with a live broadcast of the finals next Sunday from Montreal.

But first, how did this summer’s massive Roast Battle tournament come together?

We find out in part through a special tonight on Comedy Central, Road to Roast Battle, which follows producer and Roastmaster General Jeff Ross, Roast Battle host Brian Moses, “The Wave” and more from their home base in Los Angeles at The Comedy Store to Austin, Chicago and New York City to preside over satellite competitions and find worthy roasters to take with them to Montreal. It airs at midnight tonight.

Here are some uncensored highlights!
