Fuse gets into Friday night late-night comedy game for summer 2016

Fuse is setting aside the music as Fridays turn to Saturdays this summer, launching a weekly “Fresh Baked Comedy” block in late-night, starting July 8, 2016.

Each Friday at 11 p.m. Eastern/Pacific (10 p.m. Central), Fuse will broadcast a stand-up comedy special, followed by shorter showcase bits from its Stand Up & Deliver: 2 Minutes or Less series.

Announced specials to air on Fuse this summer so far include:

  • (July 8) Michael Loftus: You’ve Changed – In his comedy special debut, Michael Loftus takes you on the thrill ride that is modern marriage.
  • (July 15) Loni Love: America’s Sister – Detroit-native Loni Love regales her hilarious experiences from all over the country and proves why she has earned the title of “America’s Sister.”
  • (July 22, 29, Aug. 19, 26, Sept. 2) Red Light Comedy: Live From Amsterdam – Hosted by Russell Peters, this special brings together 24 of the world’s funniest stand-up comedians for one unforgettable comedy event. Laugh out loud to stand-up from Hannibal Buress, Christina Pazsitzky, Jamie Kilstein, and more.
  • (Aug. 5) Queens of Comedy – Four feisty Queens of Comedy hit the stage and give you the breakdown on family, being fresh out of jail, and sex. Stars Mo’Nique, Adele Givens, Laura Hayes, and Sommore.
  • (Aug. 12) Latin Kings of Comedy – Join Fuse for a night of raw comedy with five Latin Kings of Comedy: George Lopez, Cheech Marin, Joey Medina, Alex Reymundo, and Paul Rodriguez.
  • (Sept. 9) Dov Davidoff: Lower Your Expectations  –  Straight off The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live,Dov Davidoff showcases his one-of-a-kind, frenetic style by dissecting the misleading truths in today’s culture with his honest perspective on life.
