TBS gives Full Frontal with Samantha Bee full-year extension with 26 additional weeks

Samantha Bee will re-emerge from her own spring break at TBS knowing full well that Full Frontal has a full year of Monday nights to look forward to.

TBS announced today it had ordered 26 additional weekly episodes of Full Frontal with Samantha Beefor a total of 39 episodes in 2016.

“Stay crazy America, I’ll be here all year!” Bee said.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee’s first seven Monday night episodes grew viewers week to week over the first six weeks, with an average of 3.7 million viewers combined on TV and online. The Live+7 averages: 1 million in adults 18-49, 2.1 million overall viewership. Bee’s YouTube channel has earned 29 million views so far.

“Sam has positioned herself as an essential voice in late night, and it’s pretty clear she’s struck a nerve and filled a void,” said Brett Weitz, executive vice president of original programming for TBS.

Bee released a “vacation special” segment today about Ted Cruz and his supporters. Roll it!

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee returns next week (April 11, 2016), and airs at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT Mondays on TBS.
