Showtime will stream all of “Dice” season one at once online, On Demand

Showtime will roll the Dice with the first season of Andrew Dice Clay’s semi-autobiographical comedy series, streaming all six half-hours at once for on-demand viewing on April 10.

It’s the first series to receive the binge-worthy release from Showtime, and at only six episodes, that’s a three-hour viewing session you can likely take care of in one sitting.

“We’re excited to release Dice in its entirety across our streaming, on demand and authenticated viewing platforms,” said Gary Levine, President of Programming, Showtime Networks Inc. “With its six-episode run, we feel this comedy is ideally suited to being consumed all at once. We’re always looking for new ways to make our programming stand-out, and we’re confident that a ‘Dice binge’ will appeal to both fans and skeptics alike, and help spread the word about his very funny new Showtime series.”

In fact, Showtime subscribers can watch the entire season of Dice via Showtime Anytime, On Demand or streaming before it even premieres on TV. The first six episodes will become available at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 — the premiere episode airing on TV at 9:30 p.m. Eastern/Pacific, with the other five episodes airing on subsequent Sundays.

Dice follows Clay as himself, trying to jump-start his comedy and acting career in Las Vegas, a quarter-century after his peak. In real-life, his recurring role on HBO’s Entourage during 2011 brought him back into our collective consciousness.

The fictional conceit finds this version of “The Diceman” attempting to pay back gambling debts, manage his son’s heavy-metal band, and get back on top of the comedy game. Comedian Natasha Leggero plays his girlfriend, Carmen. Other co-stars include Kevin Corrigan as his best friend, “Milkshake,” and guest stars Lorraine Bracco, Adrien Brody, Michael Rapaport, Wayne Newton, Criss Angel and Rita Rudner.

The full season of Dice can be accessed by subscribers to the Showtime stand-alone streaming service on Apple, Roku, Amazon and Google, and by Showtime subscribers through streaming partners including Hulu, Sony PlayStation Vue and Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, the full season of Dice can be viewed via SHOWTIME ANYTIME, SHOWTIME ON DEMAND or TV Everywhere services through cable, DBS and telco providers.
