Imagine Louis CK’s “Horace and Pete” as a Cheers sitcom with laugh track

Louis C.K. has made seven episodes of his self-financed, self-made TV series, Horace and Pete, so far.

He acknowledges it’s not a sitcom, unless you consider it as what the bar from Cheers would look like if you visited it during the afternoon — 2 to 5 p.m. — before “happy hour.” So the folks at filminick.com have done just that! They recut scenes and dialogue from the series, played with the video feed, inserted the Cheers theme song and added a heavy obnoxious dose of bleeps and laugh tracks, and behold, Horace’s & Pete’s.

Starring Alan Alda, Steve Buscemi, Edie Falco, Jessica Lange, Steven Wright and Louis CK. Roll the clip!
