Episode #69: Nato Green

Nato Green is perhaps the most activist comedian I know. And I know more than a few comedian activists. Green lives and breathes San Francisco, not only as a comedian, but also as a union organizer, husband, father of twin daughters, columnist for the San Francisco Examiner, and host of a regular segment on Bay Area comedy called FSFSF that airs on the local NPR station (KALW). He also is the creator of Iron Comic, a fun comedy game show spoofing Iron Chef which he usually co-hosts with Moshe Kasher. He released his first comedy album (The Nato Green Party – Nato Green) via SF-based Rooftop Comedy in 2012, the same year he briefly relocated to New York City to write for FX’s Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell. All Things Considered, Nato Green moved back home to San Francisco, where he hosted me during the 2016 SF Sketchfest and shared his life and perspective with me.

So let’s get to it!
