Episode #58: Hannibal Buress

Hannibal Buress, threw himself a big ol’ bash when he turned 30. By then, Hannibal already had released two albums and a Comedy Central special, written for Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock, won an American Comedy Award, and was providing straight-man sidekick glances for The Eric Andre Show. It’s his 33rd birthday today, and I checked back in with Hannibal in his hotel room in West Hollywood as he prepared for another TV appearance to promote his new Netflix stand-up special, Comedy Camisado. He’s also got a new season of Broad City to support. We talked about what it’s like to know everyone is paying attention to your comedy (thanks Cos), what to do next, and the importance of having your own comedy room. And some other surprises.

So let’s get to it!
