Netflix orders series “Haters Back Off” starring Colleen Ballinger Evans aka “Miranda Sings”

Miranda Sings is building upon her YouTube success with an eight-episode series on Netflix. Back off haters!

Or rather, Haters Back Off. That’s the title for the show starring the character created by Colleen Ballinger-Evans, the 29-year-old who has attracted more than 5.78 million YouTube subscribers to date for the vlogs and musings of Miranda Sings.

Haters Back Off will delve deeper into the world surrounding Sings, “an incredibly confident, totally untalented star on the rise who continues to fail upward by the power of her belief that she was born famous, it’s just no one knows it yet.”

Ballinger-Evans, Chris Ballinger, Perry Rein and Gigi McCreery developed the series for Netflix.
