Rachel Bloom wins Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical, for musical comedy “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” on The CW

And the award for best before and after winning the Golden Globes goes to…Rachel Bloom!

Congrats, Rachel! Bloom won Sunday night for Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical, for starring in the very musical comedy, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, currently in its first season on The CW. The first eight of 18 episodes have aired, with new episodes returning in two weeks — on Monday, Jan. 25, 2015.

Bloom noted in her acceptance speech that the show she co-created with Aline Brosh McKenna (who discovered Bloom via YouTube) went to pilot initially at another network (Viacom cable sister Showtime), got rejected there and then several other networks before The CW gave her a chance.

But what’s really sweet about this — aside from her exuberance upon winning the award! — is seeing her suiting up before hitting the red carpet, and breaking into customized song then, too.

Roll the clips!

It's the Sexy Golden Globey Song.
