Episode #45: Reformed Whores

Marie Cecile Anderson and Katy Frame say their musical duo is the love child of Tenacious D and Dolly Parton, but Reformed Whores is an even catchier way to describe them. It’s also the name of their band. They’re from the South, but met in New York City and in the past few years have toured with Les Claypool, and even opened for Alice Cooper at the legendary Sturgis bike rally. They have an album out, Ladies Don’t Spit – Reformed Whores, that’s available now, and you can see them record new topical songs regularly online for Internet Action Force. I caught up with Katy and Marie backstage before they performed at a holiday party, and the harmonic Christmas convergence was in the air.

So let’s get to it!
