Will Ferrell tries to resurrect George W. Bush for a third presidential term on Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live opened with a bit of a surprise — former SNL superstar Will Ferrell returned with his infamously successful of former President George W. Bush (the impersonation that gave us “strategery”) to announce he’d jump back into the race for 2016 and try to win a third term.

“The field of Republicans out there are so messed up, I figured, it makes you miss me, doesn’t it?” Ferrell’s W said. “And that’s saying a lot!” Forget refugees. Think Re-Fugees!

Then he dismantled the field one by one. Including his own brother, Jeb!

Roll the clip.

Actually, Ferrell’s George W. Bush did spare a couple of GOP presidential candidates from his barbs this Saturday night. Including NJ Gov. Chris Christie. For what that’s worth.
