Back to the Future day crashes Jimmy Kimmel Live in Brooklyn

So much Back To The Future chatter yesterday online, offline and across all of the timelines.

And yet.

This appearance and performance by Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd in character as Marty McFly and Doc Brown, driving onto the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live and the live studio audience in Brooklyn, hit just the right notes. What’s real in 2015 versus what Doc Brown showed Marty in Back To The Future 2, and Kimmel’s explanations for the differences, and smartphones, and selfie culture, and Biff, and Huey Lewis showing up, and later singing “Back in Time” with the Cletones, and did we mention Biff?!

What a coup for Kimmel!

Jimmy Fallon usually dominates these pop-culture nostalgic reunions, and Stephen Colbert is the relative new guy on Broadway, but Kimmel for the win on this one.

Roll the clip!

And did you know, today is Christopher Lloyd’s 77th birthday!
