Myq Kaplan’s live quarterfinal round of America’s Got Talent at Radio City Music Hall

My friend Myq Kaplan performed Tuesday night during the second quarterfinal round of America’s Got Talent 2015, live on NBC from Radio City Music Hall.

Kaplan started his short set with something he often does, referencing the acts who came before him — it’s a way to let the audience know they’re sharing a real moment, unscripted. But the noises of live TVĀ and the cavernous nature of Radio City almost swallowed him up right at the start. Kaplan rebounded through jokes about kids and more. Did he have enough time to keep your loyalty and win your votes? Judge Mel B. wished Myq had more time to prove himself last night. So maybe you should give him more time to do so in the semis?

Roll the clip.

Voting remains open until noon ET today. Find out tonight if he made the cut!
