BET’s PUNK’D reboot to star DeStorm Power with King Bach, Amberia Allen and Ron G.

This is not a drill. This is not a prank.

Well, it is PUNK’D, and it’s all new when it reboots for the Vine generation on BET next week, premiering at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT Tuesday (Aug. 18, 2015) with new host DeStorm Power, “special guest host” King Bach and comedians/actors Amberia Allen and Ron G.

Roll the sneak peek!

DeStorm Power has 5.6 million Vine followers and 1.7 million subscribed to his longer-than-6-second videos on YouTube. Power has won an American Music Award, a YouTube Music Award and was nominated for a 2015 Streamy Award.

Power and King Bach showed up the other night on The Late Late Show with James Corden when Corden paid a visit to the “Vine” House at Hollywood and Vine.

King Bach has 13.4 million Vine followers.

Amberia Allen recently hosted PS: The BET Post Show and co-hosted BET’s late-night comedy experiment, aptly titled The XPeriment.

Ron G., meanwhile, is a stand-up comedian who competed in season six of Last Comic Standing. He also has appeared and performed on Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes, Chelsea Lately, and The Arsenio Hall Show.

The season premiere of the new BET edition of PUNK’D pranks Chris Brown, French Montana and K. Michelle.

Future pranks this season will target Rosario Dawson, Zendaya, Trey Songz, Russell Simmons, A$AP Rocky, Miguel and more.

The original version of PUNK’D, spearheaded by Ashton Kutcher on MTV in 2003, helped give early big breaks to Whitney Cummings and Dax Shepard, among others.

  1. James Corden is a really great MC. There are many famous Vine stars I want to see in the show. Thank you for sharing the post.
I have to try the machine they used in the beginning of the video.
