Comedy Central bids Jon Stewart fond farewell with epic online/audio marathon #JonVoyage

Comedy Central kicks off #JonVoyage, aka “Your Month of Zen,” today as an epic tribute to Jon Stewart’s 16-year reign supreme in late-night TV as host of The Daily Show, which he’ll close out on Aug. 6, 2015.

It covers multiple platforms — online streaming, satellite radio, cable TV and mobile apps.

A continuous stream of more than 2,000 episodes of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart starts at noon ET today with Jon’s first show as host on Jan. 11, 1999 and culminates on the night of his last show on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 7:17 p.m. ET. “Your Month of Zen” will be available at thedailyshow.com/monthofzen and the Comedy Central App.

AUDIO

Comedy Central Radio (channel 95) on SiriusXM will join the stream for the final weekend, 48 hours starting 7 a.m. ET Saturday, Aug. 1, through Monday, Aug. 3. The audio “Jon Voyage” weekend also be available through the SiriusXM App on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.

The show held an online poll recently called “News Your Own Adventure” for vans to select their favorite clips. The most popular picks will appear in a one-hour special, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: News Your Own Adventure, written and produced by the show and hosted by Correspondents Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj and Jessica Williams from “The Best F&#ing News Team Ever!” The special will debut on Sunday, Aug. 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
