Amy Schumer will open for Madonna at Madison Square Garden, Barclays; co-headline Fourth of July bash with Queen Latifah

Everything’s coming up big and bigger for Amy Schumer in 2015, as today already has seen announcements for two major gigs for the comedian this summer — she’ll co-headline a Fourth of July celebration in New York City with Queen Latifah on the Intrepid; in September, she’ll open for Madonna’s two shows at Madison Square Garden and one concert at Barclays Arena.

Schumer will join Madonna for the following shows of her tour. Tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the venue box offices.

Before that, though, comes the Freedom Festival Fourth of July gig benefitting the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. Schumer and Queen Latifah headline the celebration, with performances that evening also by Sara Evans and Will Hoge, Rachel Platten, and The Alternate Routes. That’ll happen on Intrepid Museum’s Pier 86. Tickets for the event will range from $150 to $1,000 and can be purchased immediately at https://quick.crowdtorch.com/102061
