That was Aasif Mandvi, speaking at the Congressional Radio and Television Correspondents’ Dinner last weekend in Washington, D.C. Mandvi, 49, was born in India, grew up in England, moved to Tampa at 16, where he studied at the University of South Florida. He joined Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a correspondent in 2006.
