Bill Hicks entire audio/video catalog re-issued via Comedy Dynamics

Comedy Dynamics announced on Thursday that it’ll team up with the estate of the late Bill Hicks to reissue and re-release his entire slate of stand-up comedy albums and specials.

All of his albums — Arizona Bay, Dangerous, Flying Saucer Tour Vol. 1, 12/16/1961, Love, Laughter and Truth, The Adventure, Philosophy, Rant in E-Minor, Relentless, Revelations, and Salvation — will go back on sale April 28 through all digital retailers.

SiriusXM will host a listening party of the Hicks catalog on its Raw Dog Comedy Hits channel that same day.

You’ll also find the Hicks video catalog — It’s Just A Ride, One Night Stand, Totally Bill Hicks, Relentless, Revelations, and Sane Man — available for streaming via the Comedy Dynamics VOD platform that day.

For people who still enjoy holding products in their hands…

Comedy Dynamics will release a DVD box set of the Bill Hicks collection on Aug. 18, plus an album of previously unreleased Hicks audio on Oct. 27.

“After many months of hard work and dedication, we couldn’t be more humbled to assume control of the Bill Hicks catalog,” said Comedy Dynamics President of Production, Brian Volk-Weiss. “Bill Hicks is one of the most important stand-up comedians to have walked this planet. The duty to expose him to a new generation of comedy fans is a true honor, we’ll do him proud.”

Hicks died at only 32 from pancreatic cancer in 1994, but not before becoming one of the most influential comedians on his and the next generation of stand-ups.
