Chris Rock tells Howard Stern about visiting Tracy Morgan at home

Chris Rock spent most of his Monday on a full-court press run for his new movie, Top Five, spending several hours alone just inside the Sirius XM offices, bouncing from studio to studio — Howard Stern, Opie with Jim Norton, and a “Town Hall” moderated by Cedric the Entertainer — while also hitting up HOT 97, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and probably several other interviews you may have heard or seen.

Lots of info and behind-the-scenes dishing on the new movie, a few questions about Rock’s career trajectory, other comedians and even questions about his previous interviews from last week!

The most poignant news came early Monday during Rock’s talk with Howard Stern, when the subject of Tracy Morgan came up. Morgan appears in one of the many hilarious scenes in Top Five as a relative of Rock’s character. Morgan has been spotted recently leaving his house, but his recovery from a fatal highway crash this summer has been touch-and-go, as Rock reiterated Monday.

Rock said he has visited with Morgan at his home, where he is recuperating privately.
