Tracy Morgan: “I’m fighting everyday” toward recovery from fatal turnpike crash

On the one hand, all of us want to know that Tracy Morgan is doing OK, or doing better, making progress toward recovery from this summer’s New Jersey Turnpike crash that killed his friend “Jimmy Mack” and also critically wounded fellow comedian Ardie Fuqua and Morgan’s assistant, Jeffrey Millea.

On the other, I wish we didn’t have to find out directly from the paparazzi stalking Morgan’s every move.

On Wednesday, SplashNewsOnline tracked down Morgan and his fiancee as they visited a U.S. Post Office in New Jersey.

TMZ posted the short video overnight, with Morgan simply answering the pap’s questions with this: “I’m fighting everyday.”

Morgan has been posting uplifting statements, as well, every couple of weeks to friends via Facebook.

It’s all quite hopeful.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with Morgan, Fuqua, Millea and their loved ones.

Previously: Criminal and civil proceedings continue against the driver of the Walmart truck who crashed into them this summer.
