TV Land goes single-cam, ordering “Impastor,” “Teachers” to series for 2015

TV Land is embracing single-cam sitcoms for 2015, ordering up two new comedies for next year that ditch the live studio audiences for fun in the field.

The new series, with 10 episodes each forthcoming, are Impastor and Teachers.

Impastor and Teachers are perfect examples of the type of comedies we’re looking for as TV Land evolves its original series – innovative, unconventional, and hilariously funny for an audience that enjoys smart humor with a hint of heart,” said TV Land President Larry W. Jones.
